The iCast Emerald badge
A faceted emerald with a check mark — designed by Innovative Studios exclusively for iCast.
The green Emerald badge next to a channel name means iCast has confirmed that the channel is the authentic presence of the creator, artist, brand, organisation or public figure it represents.
1. What the badge means — and doesn't
The badge confirms authenticity and notability. It isn't an endorsement of the channel's opinions or content and doesn't give the channel any advantage in recommendations.
2. Eligibility
- Authentic: the channel represents a real person or registered organisation, and you can prove it.
- Notable: usually at least 1,000 subscribers, or demonstrable public interest (press coverage, an encyclopedic entry, official status).
- Complete: a profile picture, banner, description and at least 3 public videos.
- Active and in good standing: channel at least 30 days old with no active strikes.
3. How to apply
Go to iCast Studio → Verification, check your eligibility and send a request with links proving your identity or notability. The Innovative Studios team reviews requests manually, usually within 30 days. If a request is declined you can apply again after 30 days. Questions about verification can be sent to icast.support@gmail.com.
4. Keeping the badge
The badge may be removed if the channel changes its name in a way that no longer reflects the verified entity, becomes inactive for a long period, breaks the Community Guidelines or Terms, or was verified on the basis of false information.
5. Misuse
The Emerald badge design is the intellectual property of Alessandro Mori / Innovative Studios. Displaying it — or any confusingly similar symbol — in channel names, pictures, banners, thumbnails or videos to suggest verification is impersonation and leads to removal and possible termination.
